In 2007 and 2009, in late June, PIRE-ECCI participants will meet in Dalian, China for a four day workshop to share results, bolster research collaborations and explore new directions for future work. The workshops are formatted in the Gordon conference style with extended question/answer periods. Professors and students/post-docs participating in the PIRE-ECCI share the lecture floor approximately equally. A special session on international challenges in technology transfer will be part of each work shop and the Chinese Technology Transfer Tours takes place after the workshops.
